Safety

1-MNA is a physiological substance of vitamin origin, which also occurs in natural sources. Studies demonstrate that 1-MNA is safe and is well tolerated by humans.


Safety of 1-MNA has been assessed in detail by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA).  Scientific evaluation showed that 1-MNA is safe to use1.
